Your day deserves more than background music.
Live piano for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and private celebrations across NYC and New Jersey.
I read the room so you don't have to think about the music.
Every event is different. A beach ceremony doesn't need the same energy as a packed cocktail hour. I adjust on the fly and make sure the music fits the moment, not the other way around.
A groom once asked me to start his aisle walk with Canon in D and turn it into the Sunday Night Football theme. I let Pachelbel build, then eased into the fanfare. The guests lit up, a few knowing laughs, and it still felt like a ceremony. That's what happens when your pianist actually listens.
500+ events: weddings, galas, cabarets, theater, recitals, and private parties. I learn songs by ear, sight-read on the spot, and arrange anything you want that nobody else is doing.
One continuous processional, filmed from the keys.

Pick the sound that fits your day
I perform solo and put together handpicked ensembles when you want a fuller sound.
Solo Piano
Elegant and versatile. Ceremonies, cocktail hours, and intimate gatherings.
Duo
Piano plus violin, sax, vocals, or bass. Adds texture without taking over the room.
Trio
The classic jazz combo: piano, bass, and drums, or any mix. Cocktail hours with energy.
Quartet
Piano plus three. For events that want presence and polish.
Ceremony pricing covers about two hours: guests arriving, the ceremony, and a cushion if things run long. Cocktail hour and reception time are quoted with it. Every price includes setup, sound check, and a planning call. Custom lineups available.

At our rehearsal, there was a mishap with one of the processional songs, originally written for guitar. Isaac listened to it a few times and rewrote it for piano in about 10 minutes. If you want ceremony music that feels personal, intentional, and unforgettable, Isaac is the one.
He played the songs perfectly and ended right as the bride got to the altar. During cocktail hour an old man requested some obscure song from the 70s. Isaac had no problem playing the request. The guy can play anything!
Any couple who wants a musician they can trust completely would be lucky to have him.

Good to know
Can you learn a specific song for our event?
Yes. Hum it, send a recording, or point me to it on Spotify. Two songs I don't already play are included, and I write the arrangement at no extra charge. Very complex pieces may carry an arrangement fee, and I'll tell you up front.
Do you travel outside NYC and NJ?
Anywhere in the North Jersey and NYC metro area is included. If you're further out, I'll quote travel before you book, never after.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes. I bring my own keyboard and the speaker it runs through. All I need is a grounded outlet within 25 feet of where I set up. If your venue has a grand piano, even better. For outdoor events I need an indoor backup plan, and I don't play below 54°F.
Can you coordinate with our DJ or planner?
Yes, and I prefer to. I work directly with your team so the handoffs between ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are seamless.
What happens if the reception runs long?
Weddings run long, and I'm not going to pack up and walk out. The first 15 minutes past my end time are on me. After that it's $150 per half hour, and I check with whoever's coordinating before that clock starts.
What if we need to move the date or cancel?
Ask more than 60 days out and your deposit moves with you, once, to any open date in the next 12 months. Cancel more than 60 days out and your deposit comes back in full. Full details are in my booking terms.
Can you put together a full band?
Yes. I assemble and manage ensembles for a $50 coordination fee, with musician costs passed through at cost.

Let's make it happen.
Peak season (May to October) books fast. Send your date and I'll tell you right away if it's open.
